how do i clean and seal grout on a 250 sq floor area?

What is the best method or cleaner to clean grout on a ceeramice tile floor that has not been sealed, then how do I seal it? I have about 250 sq ft area in kitchen, eat in area and hall way. Had an estimate today and they wanted $640 to do both. Does this sound reasonable? Sounded outrageous to me.

Analyzing a Poem Help?

I read a poem at school, but I really do not understand it at all (and i’m really stuck). I have a few questions dealing with the poem that I need some help with. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The poem is called “The Average” by:W.H. Auden:

Poem:
His peasant parents killed themselves with toil

To let their darling leave a stingy soil

For any of those smart professions which

Encourage shallow breathing, and grow rich.

The pressure of their fond ambition made

Their shy and country-loving child afraid

No sensible career was good enough,

Only a hero could deserve such love.

So here he was without maps or supplies,

A hundred miles from any decent town;

The desert glared into his blood-shot eyes;

The silence roared displeasure: looking down,

He saw the shadow of an Average Man

Attempting the exceptional, and ran.

Questions:

1. Express the main idea or theme of this poem

2. Based on the definition of the word “fond” and explain why you think the word, as it is used in line 5 of the poem, is or is not well chosen.

3. Explain the predicament of the main character at the end of the poem. Consider where he is, what he is doing there, and where he will run to.

My 5yr old daughter needs a straightener

My daughter’s hair is like a lions maine and its thick and wavy and we went to the mall to get it straightened and it looked awsome but they used a Chi i think it was and ofcourse im not going to get one of those for my daughter. My budget is about 25-30$. So I guess my question is which one would be the best for the money that wouldnt damage her hair. Are those wet 2 dry ones good? I was also told I will have to get some type of surum, is that nessasary? She starts school very soon and I dont want her hair to look out of control.

Why has the Associated Press’ election maps given Hillary Florida and Michigan?

Do we not expect the AP to be more honest? We know Senaor Clnton. is strecthing it when she recites the states as hers but why is the AP riding the lying wave with her?
Did you see the sleeping child in Hillary’s ad is now 17 and actively campaigning for Senator Obama? She wants to do a commerical with her favorite candidate.

Does anyone know the name of this song?

Ok, I hope I don’t get laughed off the Yahoo Answers board. I am not a classical fan, but I heard a composition on the radio and it was so beautiful that it is haunting me. I inquired with the radio station and gave them the date and time it was played, but no one has called back and it’s been over a month. I don’t know how to put musical notes in my questions, so I’m going to write down the the main notes as much as I can recall. These are probably not correct, but it is the basic tune of the song. If anyone has any ideas what the name of this song is, I would be very grateful. It was a classical radio station, and it was played by an orchestra and had a very Spanish sound. My memory may be in error, but here is the tune as I remember it:

Yes, it was an orchestra. It was a fast tempo, enthusiastic, and sounded as if it could be played at celebrations and gala events. I am sorry for the way I have written it, I am limited by both the format here on Yahoo and my memory. It starts out with those first two notes, pauses, goes rapidly through the second line of notes, pauses, and then goes through that third line of notes.

Where can I find a mechanical pencil that looks like a wizard’s staff?

A regular pencil would be fine but I’d need more than one. If anyone knows a place in Charleston/Mattoon area in Central Illinois that would great, otherwise any sites would be appreciated. I’ve already tried Ebay, Target, Yahoo, and all the other main shopping sites. I’ve also looked into the online fantasy stores but nothing there either.
Nothing on Disney Shop. Thanks for trying.
